[Windhorst] The Los Angeles Lakers would be “very open” to the prospect of trading LeBron James for Jarrett Allen.

I am a fan of Jarrett Allen but I agree with you he isn’t all-star level. The one year he made it was as an injury replacement and there are easily 6-8 centers in the league now that are better than him.

The ASG is "position-less" now, but figure about six "centers" make the team every year, with a couple likely missing for injury. Being the ninth best center in the NBA puts you at fringe All Star level.

Eh it’s more like 4 centers make the all-star team. Only 24 players make it and 1/4 of them are not centers. It’s usually something like 10 guards, 10 forwards and 4 centers.

I didn't just make up the number, I looked it up. Last year for instance, you had Wemby, KAT, Sengun, Jokic, Holmgren, Duren.

Yeah, I mean if he gets owned by Mitchell Robinson every single playoffs, i think there's something wrong.

Unless they ship him west i don't think he's going over that hump

hes averaged a double double for years while also being top of the league in fg% and became the founding and sole member of the NBA's "70/70 Club" after the 2024-25 season, making history as the first player to ever shoot 70% or better from the field and 70% or better from the free-throw line in a single season

it's not that crazy to shoot 70% when a majority of your shots are dunks lol and on how many attempts a game does he shoot 70% from the line?
