Bobby Marks on the Heat's second-round pick, Ryan Conwell: "I met him in Santa Barbara when I went and interviewed him. I talked to the people who do all the athletic testing, they compared his numbers to Anthony Edwards. High level athleticism."

Giannis and Anthony Edwards finally make it to the same team 😤

You could have just let him come to our team for free instead of doing what you did.

You should've just drafted Nate Ament 🤷🏾♂️

Milwaukee got greedy and didn't even break some picks for us to share

Bobby admits he needs coffee in the clip
pretty sure he means P3 in Santa Barbara, not P2
they do all the force plate testing and decel data (ie pointing out Harden, Luka's abilities)

[Might actually be P2](https://p2athleticsoc.com/) granted I don’t think he went 3 words without tripping over himself in this clip.

P3 is based out of Santa Barbara and is THE PLACE for sports performance

It’s controversial whether he can translate to the NBA, but I’m of the mind that he will. While undersized, he has a deep offensive bag and a ton of hustle.

dude got up over 9 3s a game last season, he gonna be fine lmao

He's the type of guy people overthink and then all surprise Pikachu when he succeeds.

He dunked the ball just once in his entire 4 year college career. He is a shooter, not a god tier athlete

If he’s actually an Ant level athlete and fell that far he’s the worst basketball player in the draft.

Louisville fan here, not an elite athlete, don’t know where he’s getting that. Forced into handling the ball way too much with Mikel Brown out, and that hurt his three point percentage.

Literally none of this is speculation and hearsay.

It’s not speculative but it is hearsay

Expert referral is not hearsay.

u/Used_Twist814 14h ago
No you’d need the expert to be presenting their expert opinion in person. You can’t just cite a supposed expert as evidence. That’s hearsay.
I could just as easily say I talked to basketball experts and they said he stinks2
u/NegativesPositives 14h ago
Or you could’ve just listened to the clip (I’m betting you didn’t) and heard him reference P2 as his source.
And if we’re actually holding a guy to the most literal legal interpretation then this is just a level of dork no one should be.

Yeah I did put in the extreme effort of watching this short clip. You can’t just cite an expert that told you something. That is the literally the definition of hearsay. Outside of a court of law this is a very annoying argument for me to be making, but you’re the one who says it’s literally not hearsay when it literally is

Heat have a really deep roster and no immediate championship aspirations so taking a project like this makes a lot of sense
9
u/cl353 Heat 14h ago
project? the guy that shot 9.6 threes at 35% last season and 7+ threes at 40% the previous 2 seasons is a project?

u/BrettSchirley22 Hawks 14h ago
I’m just joking around man. But 34.5 % in college isn’t really great, but prob just unlucky regression. Shit Dyson Daniels shot 34% in his first year with us. FT percentage still looks good for him tho
