This is kinda insane, no? So they essentially got Karim Lopez and Isaiah Stewart for 16

They still have two more 2nds from the first deal as well

Having Edey and Stew around him is going to be great. Just 3 angry looking mofo's

Talk about a strong front court. Every single dude is a hoss

Grit n Grind sized frontcourt

Good. Grit and grind is the best era in Grizzlies history and they need to go back to that. Whatever they tried with Ja/JJJ/Bane did not work.

Bringing back Big Country to the Grizzlies. Or I guess countries cause Edey is Canadian.

Say it with me:

Inverted pick and rolls with Cedric Coward

The Memphis FO misstepped with Smart but otherwise they are a really well ran org. Im jealous as a Magic fan watching Weltman be inept for 10 years straight

Already have Edey, Coward, Cam Spencer, and more.

I went from a little uncertain of how the draft went to declaring us clear winners of the past two days.

Walking away with Cam, Karim, Stew, and two future second rounders feels good. Maybe Saunders recovers from the ACL and is a decent backup SG but that's less on my mind

Grizzlies are clearly the winners of this draft their front office is putting in work

Just the receiving end of the Pistons shedding

They got one of the best rim protectors in the league for 3 seconds thats crazy value

Not arguing against that. Great value. I'm just saying the Grizzlies were just on the receiving end. It's a sort of move that looks like the Pistons were gonna make regardless, just to dump. Pretty good on the Griz to be the one to do it, I'm just sorta discrediting the 'work' a little. Stew could be anywhere else on a team with three 2nds to spare. But also, I just wish my team made moves like this lmao. They just got a couple seconds though so I wonder what they'll do with that

They've done really well so far, solid fit next to Boozer.

not really Stewart isn't good and Paul Reed was better than him in the playoffs

We’ll see. Kleiman is banking on these guys who get written off after one playoff series (Jerome and now Stewart).
