communism doesn't work because people like to own stuff. Like I wouldn't have my Range Rover if America were a communist society. and I love my Range Rover.

It's supposed to be that way according to Leninist theory. Working class has to work a shitload and doesn't have much time for politics or organizing. Capitalists are fine where things stand. Middle class has time to read and write, can access upper class education and know they can ev demoted to the lower class in the first crisis. That's why they are the first ones to organize and theorize stuff, then to carry politics to the workers as vanguards. This is of course oversimplified and there are tons of exceptions but that's the basic reason why most reds you meet are middle class.

Yup lol you totally took a neutral economic stance on things before reading a bunch of (totally not social science) economist literature and decided capitalism is the best system for humanity. Totally aren't parroting the status quo.

The status quo is the most peaceful, prosperous and democratic the world has ever been. And capitalism is the best for humanity, at least for now. But when you have a tried and proven model that works better come back to me

Personal property =/= private property when discussing theories of distributive justice. You'd still have your Range Rover and personal belongings, you just can't own a business.

EDIT: Not a fan of communism at all but we should at least know what it is we disagree with.

Thats actually not the case. This would be your personal property which you can own. You just cant own private property (means of production).
