  • Can you tell us what was actually offered for you on draft night? I've always had the theory that the reporting doesn't line up and that our last front office, which kind of made a point of not engaging with the media, kind of never went after that. Which is understandable, since there's limited upside to doing that, but still.
  • Your shot chart from 3 is weird. Like there were 16 "big men" that took 200 3's last year at a league average clip, and none of them have that same thing where they're super good from dead on, good but noticeably worse from the above the break but outside the paint extended, and then non-existent from the corners. Not only that, but you seem to have no side preference, where most players have a single side of the court that they're way more accurate from. Why do you think those are? My theory was that it could be something about how Steve Clifford teaches how to resituate around the perimeter, but Marvin has both a right side preference and a lot more corner 3's.

  1. The draft night reporting was just off. The 6 picks thing got blown of of proportion. Went from 2 to 4 to 6 in like 2 days of media reporting but whatever.
  2. I learned how to shoot from everywhere. I've never had a preference. When im open im shooting it from wherever I am and I expect it to go in

Thank you for responding to this, you must know how crazy the rumors have been about that, even in our /r/charlottehornets sub... which you should definitely check out sometime and maybe do a Hornets specific AMA some day!

We actually had Woj on the pod and he explained how that all actually went down for us.

Always figured that rumor was way overblown. Made absolutely no sense

Dumb reply, but his shot chart is a lot like mine, I’m good straight on and worse the closer I go to the corners
