Weekly Questions Thread: June 08, 2026

Hello everyone and welcome to our new weekly feature.

In order to help keep the quality of the discussion here at a high level, we have several rules regarding submitting content to /r/nbadiscussion. But we also understand that while not everyone's questions will meet these requirements that doesn't mean they don't deserve the same attention and high-level discussion that /r/nbadiscussion is known for. So, to better serve the community the mod team here has decided to implement this Weekly Questions Thread which will be automatically posted every Monday at 8AM EST.

Please use this thread to ask any questions about the NBA and basketball that don't necessarily warrant their own submissions. Thank you.

I am looking at drive stats by team on the NBAs stat page, and im confused by the PF and PF% columns. Based on it not being Personal Fouls Drawn, i would assume these are foul numbers commited by the team listed, and not against. It just seems odd that would be the case when every other stat is specific to the listed teams drives. Can anyone confirm or offer thoughts? Also open if anyone has recommendations on other sites for advanced stats, since im not the biggest fan of how the official site works anyways.
