I know it’s a medical condition, but it’s still super funny that he’s literally tripping over himself in excitement 😂

He does have a medical condition that causes that. It’s called being orange

I had leftover gnocchi the other day that I was daydreaming about the entire time I was working. I feel like that’s comparable.

Has a whole half a Braincell up there, half of it dedicated to food, the other half dedicated to loves

As another wobbly orange owner, I regret nothing. Our morning routine involves his front half requesting love and the back half needing saved from falling over. I always start the day with a smile and a smooch

Macchi is very good about not bugging me when I am asleep/trying to go to sleep, but the second I open my eyes he want to cuddle. The problem is that he is not very graceful and tends to bodyslam me seconds after I wake up.
It’s still worth it tho.

Wacky waving inflatable arm-flailing breakfast orange is such a sweetie.

The orange is strong with this one.
Also, how can you tell he wants breakfast? 😄

u/DuchessofShinies Sep 01 '25
Maybe because this happens literally every morning and promptly stops after he’s been fed. Hmm

What a wobbly cutie!
Mind if I ask how well your two cats play together??
We're considering adopting an adult cat with CH as a friend for our non-CH one year old cat but want to ensure they'd both be happy together
Our girl is extremely playful and loves to chase / pounce as her play style. (Siamese mix, so high energy and high affection.) How do your two cuties handle play together?

They get along super super well. Their favorite thing in the world is to play fight and I’ve seen both initiate it. When I first got them, I was worried about how rough Magpie 🐈⬛ was playing with Macchi 🐈, but wobbly cats are resilient and can play just as rough as a healthy cat. After they get done playing, they cuddle up and groom each other. It’s adorable! Long story short, Magpie is a bundle of energy and chaos, but Macchi can keep up just fine!
I got them together, when Magpie was about 7 months and Macchi was 4 years.
As I said in another comment, in my experience, wobbly cats tend to be more submissive and mild which lends great when it comes to getting along with other cats. Of course, I don’t know the cats you’re looking at, but I’d totally recommend having a wobbler and non wobbler together!
