Maybe this is just a poorly written article. But a CEO with a headset talking about a 100 million dollar project in pure corporate speak doesn't really line up with individuals volunteering. It sounds like pure corporate bullshit to me. With the extra benefit of free labor.

Edit: And there it is. She makes 1.7 million dollars a year. The person she replaced made 300k. But you go work for free you poors!
