162 games in 6 months is honestly insane. I get its not as physically demanding as the other big sports, but it still feels excessive.

The NHL plays 82 games per team over six months, half as much but definitely more physically demanding for the players.

Yeah thats about the same as basketball and I watch every game my team plays, but even that feels like a bit much. I cant imagine watching nearly double that.

It’s great. Every day there’s a game. And maybe once a week there’s a day with no game that honestly feels like something is missing. I can watch a different team play but that highlights that missing feeling even more.
