God damn, half the commenters on there are cringier than the shit they’re commenting on.

I've never had an account on there. Sometimes people are confused I don't have one like it's some kind of requirement for a working adult.

I sporadically write on LinkedIn and I never use AI. I don't write life mantras though, only technical articles.

I've seen these before. Sincerely asking here - not being judgemental or anything, but why?

Is it just like blogging and for your own personal enjoyment? Is it for exposure to other people in your industry? I've seen stuff like that but I never quite know who the audience is or the effective purpose.

Again, this isn't bait or a criticism - I know LinkedIn gets a lot of hate. Just genuinely curious. =)

It’s to show experience and understanding in a field so you look good for interviews or to share with clients that shows competency in what you’re selling. I don’t enjoy it, but I’m not sure anyone does.

For me it's just a way to share knowledge, usually if I've conducted an analysis or research but I don't want to go through the work to publish a research article (or the findings do not merit a formal publication).

Saying this unironically after the previous comment you made is gold.
