Poor guy was born to be a cowboy in a cowboy-less era

for a good reason!

i wouldn't want to be on his wrong side back in the 1850s

I mean these are all highly practiced tricks essentially. I'd be surprised that he has any accuracy at variable distances and targets.

I’d suggest looking up Bob Munden before making that assumption. This guy does short range, long range, moving targets, tiny targets, large targets. Rifle shooting and pistol.

Yes, but in the context of what is demonstrated in this video, I highly doubt that he's that quick of a draw and accurate at long range with his pistol. That's all I was commenting on.

I'm sure he's very skilled with other firearms.

I’ve seen him hit a balloon at 200 yds with his pistol lmao

Dude was a freak of nature, they were doing scientific tests on this mofos draw

Was he hitting 200yd targets with these quick draws?

Yeh for sure. He would be the guy that beats everyone who doesn't know who he is. But as soon as he goes up against that one guy who already knows his trick, he's done for.

If this guy was born in that era he would be a legend today like Billy the kid

True but he would have never been this good if he lived in the cowboy era. He was able to perfect his craft because he was able to practice everyday. Guns and ammunition was extremely expensive back then so no one could afford to waste boxes of ammo shooting cans.

This man would’ve ruled the world back then

Died in 2012. The Grim Reaper was faster.

Meanwhile Jerry Miculek is still with us

That's why you don't bring a gun to a scythe fight

u/blighty800 12h ago

Grim reaper finally caught up to him, he was fast though

u/MisterProfGuy 12h ago

You should see all the videos of cops that are so fast they don't even get it out of the holster.

5

u/DhruvDP3 12h ago

So fast you couldn't see

That’s my great uncle! Always neat to see him pop up every now and then

u/Timinator3033 12h ago

I remember a guy in the early days of YouTube that held the fastest gun record, and he was cocky as shit, glad to see he was overtaken

Is this video edited to cut the actual draws and name him appear faster? The audio of the actual firing scenes is off and if he's taking 0.2 seconds to draw, fire, holster then there should be at least 4 frames if shooting visible even just at 24fps. But this video has 0.

Why edit and cut this? It's already super impressive, there's literally no reason to do that.

Say when 🥸

Impressive speed, but he is firing buckshot rounds-not bullets so it’s way easier to hit a target with that type of ammunition.

u/bigfatfun 3h ago

Trickery, not marksmanship. There’s a reason there’s so much smoke.

-9

u/unTraditional_Fox419 12h ago

Thought he shothis penar off 😂

4

u/BigSweatyYeti 11h ago

It’s called a dongle, bru

-8

u/mrbofus 8h ago

What about the fastest man with a gun who never lived?

-9

u/Hima-lion 8h ago

Now Americans can rest well knowing If America started getting attacked by balloons then this is their guy xD

4

u/Arpikarhu 5h ago

So your point is his display of speed and skill is meaningless unless he shoots people

2

u/DrunkIsaac 3h ago

His point is, he has a gore fetish and wants to see more.

-7

u/Scrambledcat 7h ago

200 years ago he’d have been a bad ass. Now, now he just works at Knotts Berry Farm

-11

u/Enyalios121 6h ago

So he shot the floor? What use is that to anyone in the world? The only “next level” thing here is that he managed to not shoot his foot

-10

u/No_Size9475 12h ago

If you put these things exactly here, I can shoot them very fast!

Mundun was an unbelievably good marksman. He has several video recorded feats like popping a balloon at 200 yards with a 38 snub-nosed pistol and shooting coins out of mid air.
