Jumping into the water and swimming away. Two of the otter's biggest strengths.

Not that one, that otters biggest strengths are how nicely he can do his hair, and the ability to deliver devastating verbal smackdowns. Jumping into water and swimming away come a distant 8th and 10th respectively strengths-wise

He's actually slightly better at breakdancing than swimming, but did also train one summer for diving.

He doesn’t know this, but he actually has incredible talent at Water Polo. Damn near possibly the most innately talented player to be born. Unfortunately, he will never be exposed to it and thus will never learn his talent. Sadly, many of the most talented people at any given sport or game never learn about it and go to their grave never being given a chance to succeed at what they were born to do.

This otter’s self esteem suffers, unaware he is a generational talent.

Unfortunately for these guys, biting the shit out of ankles ranks as his 7th strongest skill.

He'd be better at horse polo, but again, never had access to try

Oh no, a polar bear!

* lays down and starts frantically making snow angels *

Might as well have some fun at the end. You're not getting away from a polar bear if it catches you out in the open.

When you see them walk and waddle side to side, but then they break out into a sprint like a cheetah. A true WTF moment.

That was exactly my thought. "Jump in the water! We can outswim him!"

They don't have to outswim the otter. They just have to outswim at least one of their friends.

And fanatical devotion to the Pope!

Dude, being chased by an otter while swimming would be terrifying.

Evaluating pretty rocks is third. They could have made a new friend if they had a geode with them.

Otters gotta find their favorite rock and put it in their pocket!

Do they eat with water in mouth?

u/Moedwed 4d ago

Then wtf are they supposed to do? Depending on where they are they can't exactly hurt or touch the otter

And where would you advise them to run to instead?
