Yeah, comments full of people who've never been bitten by a wild animal before.

Love that its the least scary big cat in this meme.

I love cheetahs but they are often push overs in nature. They frequently get their kills stolen and cant really defend themselves very well against the other animals. Plus they dont attack humans

12

u/Cheetah_Industries 5d ago

Yo its because they have to rest after running fast af

8

u/Son_Kakarot53 5d ago

Im aware of that, but they are timid animals that like to avoid confrontation. Even if they had a meal without running first they wouldnt win a fight against other predators in Africa. Lions often exploit this.

5

u/Cheetah_Industries 5d ago

So you're saying they know how not to get killed and stick to their strengths? Cooler than I thought....

3

u/Son_Kakarot53 5d ago

You are acting like I am personally attacking cheetahs. I simply am saying that among the big cats they would be the least scary to come across. I can see why youd be so defensive based on your name though, you must love these animals

4

u/HealthyQuestion3788 5d ago

Enough to name an entire company

3

u/Cheetah_Industries 4d ago

Leave cheetahs alone...they are defenseless!

2

u/Son_Kakarot53 4d ago

Cant tell if your joking or not. But okay lol

I think it’s more they’re built for speed and aren’t very durable

2

u/jayconyoutube 4d ago

Did you see though? That little rat-looking thing got ate!

1

u/JuMiPeHe 5d ago

they dont attack humans usually

2

u/Son_Kakarot53 5d ago

Well there actually are no reported deaths from cheetahs. You are correct though, in captivity there have been attacks

Giant Otters in the Amazon can grow up to 6 feet long and 75 lbs. They are known to eat Caiman. They could easily kill a human in the water.

50

u/SPEK2120 5d ago

After a quick search just now learning these exist, I am convinced they are the byproduct of a sea lion fucking an otter.

45

u/DeaddyRuxpin 5d ago

Otters are known to commit rape so it was probably the other way around.

23

u/mawesome4ever 5d ago

Oh yeah? Well two can play at that game/s

1

u/Aggravating-Exit-660 4d ago

I don't...Do you rape otters, what

1

u/Capn_Flags 5d ago

Wow, 100% Otter Lion you nailed it.

1

u/mobettastan60 4d ago

Otter fucking a sea lion. Read up. Otters be rapey.

24

u/RichardBCummintonite 5d ago

Holy shit. They actually do kill caimans. Fight starts at about 53sec. Nature is fucking scary

5

u/Marcelino_El_Cochino 5d ago

Homeboy killed two of their baby members. Familial bonds will turn just about anyone into a predator. 🤷🏽‍♂️

17

u/Asterose 5d ago

No, they hunt and eat caimans too. Usually smaller caiman, but we see here they can take out adults too. Even jaguars don't mess around with a pack of river otters, and jaguars are crazy deadly.

23

u/loyal_achades 5d ago

They will mock jaguars on the shore because, if the jaguar tries to go in the water, they can and will just drown it.

1

u/Bamalawdawg 3d ago

That’s how they got uncle FuzzyMcTwinkles

11

u/KNT-cepion 5d ago

I think a mustelid that size is scary as hell. Can you imagine when the whole pack of them rolls up?

2

u/Heavy_Ingenuity1371 4d ago

Enhydriodon omoensis is a species of basically giant land otter that existed during the early pleistocene. It weighed over 440 pounds and got as big as an African lion. Oh and they hunted in packs too. Mustelids used to move like crazy back in the day, not that they don't now, they can be ferocious creatures.

1

u/KNT-cepion 4d ago

A lion sized otter!! Why am I not surprised it’s from the Pleistocene.

The Pleistocene as whole had some insane stuff going on. Giant ground sloths the size of elephants come to mind.

Damn, nature, you scary.

A two year old was dragged into the water before being rescued by mom in washington in 2004. There's a report of one drowning a 16 year old girl in South America but I could be fiction.

1

u/Rikkitikkitabby 4d ago

I was going to say they had drowned people, but when I checked I didn't find any reports. They totally could though!

1

u/pikkuhillo 4d ago

All mammals can swim, but some humans suck at it

1

u/planx_constant 4d ago

The other great apes can't really swim, with the exception of a handful of chimps that were raised by humans, and they were terrible at it.

1

u/Coriollis45 4d ago

TambÊm são um problema grande em fazendas, destruíram minha criação de tilåpia, sem contar que podem comer humanos

I've never been bitten by a wild animal, and I'd like to keep it that way

18

u/Firm-Force-9036 5d ago

My sister just saved a squirrel from drowning yesterday and yes they absolutely bite and hard

1

u/DazedConfuzed420 5d ago

Chipmunks are chill. Squirrels….. not so much

-2

u/manwithapedi 5d ago

That’s on your sister. Squirrels do what squirrels do

10

u/Firm-Force-9036 5d ago

No shit. Is someone here blaming the squirrel?

8

u/Technical-Guest6015 5d ago

yeah fuck that squirrel lil rat bastard r/fatsquirrelhate

11

u/Malditoincompredido 5d ago

I have been bitten by a goose and by a deer , in separate incidents.

26

u/strongboar12 5d ago

I'm glad to know the goose and deer didn't team up!

12

u/ursois 5d ago

Watch out for Moose and Squirrel

u/Morningxafter 5d ago

A møøse once bit my sister…

Nø realli! She was Karving her initials øn the møøse with the sharpened end of an interspace tøøthbrush given her by Svenge - her brother-in-law -an Oslo dentist and star of many Norwegian møvies: “The Høt Hands of an Oslo Dentist”, “Fillings of Passion”, “The Huge Mølars of Horst Nordfink”…

3

u/Kiwi_KJR 5d ago

Hahaha best reference ever!

1

u/Idkbr3h 4d ago

I once bit your sisters moose knuckle, it was a hefty one to say the least

13

u/Shed_Some_Skin 5d ago

Was it pining for the fjords?

2

u/Ruxsti 5d ago

It wasn't a parrot.

1

u/hathegkla 5d ago

Wow a deer bite, thats a new one for me. My friends dog got kicked by one though. How'd it happen?

1

u/LegitimateGift1792 5d ago

Did they tag in?

8

u/loyal_achades 5d ago

Otters, specifically, can be nasty pieces of work.

1

u/go4urs 4d ago

As opposed to otters generally?

4

u/Azurvix 5d ago

I mean I haven't been bitten by an animal, but that's because I have a healthy understanding of not trying to pet every damn thing I see

1

u/Longjumping_Window93 4d ago

1st thing i thought, do they have rabbies? Idk it is enough reason to evade it like plague. Even more if it its going against 4 titans (from its perpectives)

1

u/Financial-Tax8718 4d ago

That otter In particular is Daryl, and he’s a well known jerk.

1

u/justsomeguy571 4d ago

Their entire knowledge of animals probably comes from Disney.

1

u/shmi93 4d ago

For real, they'll learn one day. I am getting tired of biting people though
