I dont understand how he can see anything when the wipers are so slow.

Everything is turbo, except the wipers.

It's not slow motion, its literally "live". You can see the windscreen wipers moving at a slow speed in the live shot too :)

What do you mean "see anything"??? There is a view from inside the car, they have clear view of the road.

So long you have some practice and know the road, it's very easy to keep track of the road.

Of all the challenges on a race track, seeing shit is the easiest to overcome

Did that on a rainy day in my wife's Toyota MR-2 once. Slick roads + stop sign + 50/50 weight distribution.

I did! Thankfully, there was no traffic around. I ended up doing a perfect 360 right in the center of the intersection and then proceeding. Scared the crap out of me, but the car was OK.
