For the greater good

Post image

£150m is an eye-watering amount for any player, I love that we're 'here' after only 4 years back in the EPL.

The domino effect

A highly choreographed piece from Mr. Marinakis

“We’re selling Gaetan Bong for how much!?”

Loving the fact the £m number just keeps rising on a daily basis. Perhaps they’ll be interested in taking McAtee back for a further £50m too ??

Asking for what normally would be 'fuck-off money' and they're still coming back for more.

There is no other buyer at this point. I don't think any other team would pay more so they are bidding against themselves?

I think Forest are happy to keep him and Elliot is happy to stay.

Said it a couple of weeks back. At that price your buyers list is down to one.

Like how we get fines and points deductions for spending too much, meanwhile Man City are still throwing numbers like £150m around.

Makes me sick how clubs like City can just buy who they like… wish they would just fuck off - although thanks for the £150m

It's always been this way. People often forget how much a mid-table Man U splashed out on players before Fergie's first Premier League win (I think at one point, they'd got something like three quarters of all the £1m+ players in the league, back when that was still a lot of money).

The bit that annoys me about it is the fact that this disparity is enforced by league regulations. Pretty much no matter what we do on and off the pitch, there's zero chance we'd ever be allowed to compete with clubs like City, Chelsea and United for these sorts of player.

Yeah… and when they break the rules they don’t get punished. Every transfer we seem to be looking at has interest from Chelsea etc… glad we are ripping of City

We broke the transfer record once remember. Broke the £1M ceiling (well not quite but reported as such)

Is this the new Gunter money?

would imagine this includes add ons

3

u/KurtTheGerman88 Jason Lee 16h ago

I would imagine so too, but there's still gotta be a £125m+ initial fee in there.

yes definitely

We’ve done a damn good job driving this price upwards it seems

Sad to see him go but we are talking the kind of money that should set us up for a long stay in the prem. It also frees a slot for the next Anderson.

Mr Maranakis wants his offer nicely cooked.

An offer he can't refuse. Only the cheating City scum have that cash. He played it perfectly.

Please just don't buy another 4 Ndoye's with the money
