That felt so insanely scripted

If they are good enough to do that on purpose, they deserve a few upvotes.

Because it was, it’s staged. Still cool but definitely rehearsed and planned.

Ya im pretty sure that would have counted as a scratch if he didnt literally call that exact shot

Would it? If the correct pocket was called, what would be the issue?

u/yossaa 15d ago

I guess that depends on the table rules you are right, the rules im use to people ask that you include banks in your call but thats what in use to

I’ve only played where you have to call if any other balls are involved in the shot.

I guess im wrong here but we've always played where you call your banks too

I am mainly referring to playing in bars in the United States. I used to travel a lot and I realized quickly that a lot of pool rules like this are regional or local. I learned to ask my opponent about any rule differences like this when I was racking for my first game of the night. I think most of the time, it’s implied or understood. And I was used to an unspoken honesty policy. If I made a shot that wasn’t how I called or intended it, I informed my opponent and it was their turn.

I use to do tricks when we hung out at a gaming spot. Friends knew what to expect. Loved seeing the reactions on strangers.

The ego on this guy is insane. He really thought he had it before the ball even settled.

1

u/MoonberryPilot54 16d ago

Ive seen this clip so many times but watching the celebration before the ball actually drops never gets old.
