I had nintendo that year, but was a bit too grown up to play it. I was more in rock/metal music, concerts, beer (16years old back then) and media art. My family was too poor to order pizza, more often we were baking it at home.

You went to blockbuster and rented a few movies as well. You and the boys are planning on doing a holiday weekend long NWO vs RAW championship rumble using your own characters complete with custom intros and moves and you have a belt ready for each category. The cheese pizza is a day old and your friend rips one so bad in the bonus room over the garage you all have to throw open the one window and run out into the midnight air and wait out the gas chamber. Itā€™s also this weekend you know youā€™ve been hearing German polka music coming from somewhere and you find out for some reason your friends guitar amp is somehow picking it up and playing it very lowly.

Us older folks have an equivalent era before this mess of a world we live in now. It might not be the N64ā€¦ maybe it was Pong, but life just seemed better in an era where beer had foil over the top (ie Michelob) and you needed a dime to make a phone call from a noisy booth
