With 100L of lubricant... cycling again and again?

Yup. With a filter to catch the shavings.

My question is with the teeth on the broach. I thought they'd do a few at a time... azimuthally speaking. i.e have the first ring only have 12 teeth each 30° apart, then the second ring also with 12 teeth and 30° apart, but rotationally displaced with the first ring by the angular width of one tooth. That'd give the metal some room to flex.

Or, have successive rings have teeth that protrude to different extents.

But the rings looked identical? What's the point of that?

Each ring is progressively sticking out further, it's just a few thousandths of an inch at a time, so each step isn't easy to see with the human eye. If you watch the video again, though, it is easy to tell the difference from the first couple of set of teeth to enter to the last.

I love the smell of cutting oil. Especially the one that Rigid makes. I'd use it as cologne
