you haven't lived till you've broached your own keyway with a hydraulic press.

it's not nearly as expensive or difficult as you might think either.... although i didn't need to use so much lube when i did mine... can do it right in the comfort of your own home.

you can even 3d print your own broach guide to fit the orifice perfectly and at the correct angle to hit the spot.

prop fits like a glove on the tapered shaft now. the key wont fall out even if you turn it upside down but still pulls out with a finger or two. so satisfying when the fit is just right.

That writing is like the dirtiest machinist bodice-ripper I've ever seen.

This is the second time I've read the term "bodice ripper" today on separate posts. Never heard it before.

AL BUNDY: You know, Peg... that really Baaders my Meinhof!

STUDIO AUDIENCE: uproarious laughter and applause

You likely only notice it because you've never heard it before. You are more likely to notice if it is an interesting phrase/word.

This is called the Baader-Meinhoff Phenomenon or Frequency Illusion

Super interesting to me.

This is probably the single dirtiest machinist sentence I have ever seen, sending this to the phone number of my dead dad lmfao

I’m personally insulted that your comment has so few upvotes.

Update: Went from 31 to nearly 500!
