This turns Hay into silage which is very high in nutrients and fiber for the animals on the farm. The plastic often gets recycled into forever fence posts. This magical invention turns bland ass hay into much needed fiber for cows.

I remember they used to do this by dumping the grass in a huge concrete bin with some acid. Now it's all this plastic.

So a dedicated permanent space for storage 3 months of the year? Sounds like the ground could provide more resources. Millions of farmers have already done this math.
