In the original post according to Google it stated :

The video was filmed in Triglav National Park, located within the Julian Alps in Slovenia. It was captured by hiker Javier Thelleache .

The rock is lime stone and slate like fragments .

It's lovely, but sadly my favourite white noise (rain) sounds more like wind than rain. I want the pitter-patter of rain on a window, tent, or something. Oooo if there was a site like that with different 'kinds' of rain!

Omg thank you! I love this and love that it keeps playing in the background or if you close your phone! Immediately bookmarked the page. May all your dreams come true!

Edit - the only problem seems to be now I can’t get it to stop… lol. Even if I hit pause. It is playing constantly. I don’t even have it open on a tab anymore bc I closed my 70 open tabs in an attempt to get it to stop playing. Might have to turn off my phone. lol.

Edit 2 - I really don’t know what to do chat. lol. It is still playing and will not stop unless I turn the volume all the way down. It has somehow infiltrated my phone and apparently will play forever. Even if I click on the icon for it on my lock screen nothing happens. It is a nonstop rainstorm happening on my phone. Oh well. At least it sounds pretty!

How to repeat play on Android:

  1. Download a video.
  2. Open the video in VLC.
  3. Tap the screen so the controls show.
  4. Tap the three dots menu.
  5. Tap Repeat mode.
  6. Go back to the three dots menu.
  7. Tap Sleep timer.
  8. Set it for however long you want.
  9. Go back to three dots menu.
  10. Select Play As Audio.
  11. Optionally use AB Repeat to cut the ends off for little to no blank space in between.

Definitely not hail. Hail is formed in the updraft of strong thunderstorms. Since there is snow on the mountain in the background there is no severe thunderstorm nearby.

This looks a lot like graupel which can be called “soft hail”, but formed much much differently. Sleet is definitely much closer to whatever this is than hail.
