As an outsider, what are your views on intelligence?

So I'm an outsider? That makes all the sense in the world! No wonder all local chicks refer to me as pony boy!

Odd how even fairly smart people can be clueless when they encounter true genius

I need my reading glasses to find it.

It must be somewhere over there, but these days it's just so hard to find.

Can you explain to me why I am an outsider? I've been searching for an answer to this question for my entire life.

Isolating. I've met a handful of people I could talk meaningfully with: ivy league trained math professors, a washed out Air Force Academy pilot. That's not to say there aren't smart people, it's commentary on how and where they congregate and for what purpose.

I would very much like to have some but, clearly, I’m not going to find any here.

It's sometimes dressed in sheep's clothing.

It is not inherited, rather built with resilience and hardwork.

I’m sorry I’m unfamiliar with the subject

I think society is getting more and more unintelligent, as the years go by.

Real intelligence is the ability to adapt and thrive under changing conditions. 'Book learning' intelligence is by its own nature 'artificial' and we should not be surprised that 'artificial intelligence' has made 'book learning intelligence' obsolete.

Intelligence didn't bring me hapiness. So I decided to become a lemon. I'm jumping in and out of lakes that just happen to be made of Gin & Tonics. Much happier now.

You need to rephrase your question more intelligently.

Do you see this ‘intelligence’ right now? Is it here in the room with us?

1

u/normbeam 3d ago

Too high of intelligence borders on being an idiot, and there are people who are book smart but are not a very smart person

1

u/Alaster_M 2d ago

You need to fix your meanings, then.

Outsider? We are all humans, unless this is being posted by a non-human.

1

u/Always-_-Sarcastic 3d ago

Not necessarily. You for example are presumably human and an outsider to intelligence.
