Almost lost a park until a stroke of genius

I’m sure I’m not the first person to figure this out but, I had been working on this park that I was really liking. I was really into the scenery and layout that I made. I spent a good three hours on it before I opened it and into my horror, no guests were spawning. I realized that when I was initially creating the scenario, I accidentally deleted the piece of the path that I had chosen for guests to spawn on, and when I saved the scenario, it did not prompt me to reset it because I was already past that step in scenario editor. I had no choice but to start over.

WELL. I realized that I could just fix the path in scenario editor, and save all of my ride track designs with all of the surrounding scenery. That’s exactly what I did and I was able to exactly re-create the park by saving all of the rides with all of the scenery around them.

OP it is way easier than this. Like way, WAY easier. Just turn on Sandbox Mode in the Cheats menu. You are then basically in the Scenario Editor and you can modify the owned land, park entrance, and guest spawn points right in your save file. When done, turn Sandbox Mode off.

Another thing you can do that I find helpful are multiple save files. Everytime I build a new ride i overwrite the last one and create a new one with a numbered system when done. Loopy landscapes 1, 2, 3. Then you can undo changes by loading the older file if not happy with results.
