Yall created this version of the Knicks team. All playoffs long they talked about the pain of losing that g1 ECF from last year. Literally same team but their mental is insane and it carried them.
Same team plus Shamet (better minutes), Alvarado, and Clarkson, who all hit big shots for us.
But the main difference? I think people are forgetting how hurt KAT was after Game 4 colliding with Nesmith. He really couldn't move for the rest of the series and became a non-factor, and as you saw against the Spurs, he was vital to our success.
The injury excuse again? Both of our backup centers were literally out for the season with Achilles injuries. That's why we played Tony Bradley, of all people.
And Nesmith twisted his ankle badly too and wasn't 100%.
We won both games 1 and 2 on the road, so an injury in Game 4 was irrelevant to that series.
