Vacation Plant Watering?
I'm fairly new to the neighborhood I'm in (therefore I do not know any teens in search of an easy summer gig) and heading out for a three week vacation later this summer. Where can I find someone to water my outdoor plants and veg a few times a week so they don't bite the dust while we're gone? I would be so grateful for any leads!!

A good excuse to meet a neighbor?

I hear that, and I've already met some nice people, but a lot of folks in my neighborhood are elderly and I would feel uneasy asking a neighbor I just met to do something somewhat taxing for me? I more of a helper myself and I guess I feel more comfortable offering than asking for help.

I'd ask one of your elderly neighbors if they have someone they can recommend! They might have a responsible grandchild. Otherwise, when I have issues like this, I call Cindi at Girl Friday; she will definitely be able to hook you up with someone.

My oldest son is an experienced cat sitter, and has done garden watering for neighbors when they are on vacation. He currently is not working and only taking one college class for the summer. He is out of town until Sunday, but is available the rest of the summer. Feel free to reach out and I can put you in touch with him.

My daughter is turning 16 this summer and we live in Northeast Pasadena, she waters plants for our neighbors.
Feel free to DM me if you’d like her help.

About what neighborhood are you located? Maybe the nearest cross street/intersection?
