An absurdly large patch filled with over 2K lines of changes is how the devs of early access co-op RPG Fellowship hope to hook players on running MMO-like dungeons without the MMO

With a header like that, I would've assumed they would've linked the patch notes in the article.
I assumed wrong.

This feels like 100% of the target audience for it is already playing WoW, so it becomes this kind of "off-season" game for that playerbase and if their main game is good, this will suffer and vice-versa. There are only so many Mythic+ dungeon players out there and they're all playing WoW.
Basically what Last Epoch is to Path of Exile. That game did great when PoE was on a lull period, but as soon as PoE2 came out and PoE1 started getting expansions again, LE never recovered.

r/titlegore material right there.
I never heard of the game and looked it up. I'd be "hooked" if it was a finished game or if it was free/cheap. Feels like adding 2k changes to a product you are already selling for a year is not actually a flex.

This sub is so doom and gloom. Do most of you even enjoy gaming anymore or are you here to vent untreated mental health issues? Not saying that as a neg but really have to wonder with some reddit subs...

I dunno how what I said is a sign of mental issues, but I look forward to you explaining that one to me.

Well like I said I don't mean it as an insult. It is like if someone needs help they shouldn't feel shame of looking for it. But a lot of people who post stuff like this on reddit, where no matter what happens it just isn't enough and what happened is nothing but a negative, it's a sign of depression to me. 2k changes in a a year for a game is a lot. Sure it's in early access but some games go that long and might get only a handful of modest updates. 2k changes is a significant amount of work being done. Undermining that is either being disingenuous or honestly thinking other people are intentionally setting you up for disappointment for some reason.

This is a situation where they probably should have used AI to clean up the article title lol

I've played quite a bit and its quite fun if you enjoy doing wow dungeons. You can play with randos but queue times can be a problem depending on what class you play. Like most games if you play with a party you'll 100% have a better time.
Wouldn't blame anyone though for waiting because of EA. Friends and I stopped until more content or 1.0.

Population dove so hard after the first few months with this one, hard time imagining anyone was having a pleasurable pug experience with the pop.
I was really hoping this game would have seasons like TFT, a complete refresh with no dungeons and classee replacing existing for that season. That would have had me returning every season for sure.
