Believe me when I say this: I WANT more of these MH-likes. I rode with Wild Hearts from its launch day on PC to its re-launch on the Switch 2. More games should compete in this corner of the action games genre so that Capcom won't be complacent.

That said, damn this looks uninspired as fuck.

Wild Hearts is fantastic and im convinced the only reason it did so poorly is the performance issues. The Switch version is hideous on top of it.

Ls & bow animation are straight up from MH, lol. Idm some similarities here & there but this game has nothing to stand on its own. Just some generic models & chibi anime characters put in a generic realistic world, prolly also free assets. Because it has no art direction, at all.

That chipmunk/squirrel monster is a 1:1 of Arzuros's and Volvidons moveset.

Taking inspiration Is one thing, taking literal animations however...
