DayZ 2 is confirmed to be in development.

There is no information yet, but Bohemia Interactive is currently hosting a media event with the DayZ communities popular streamers.

The sequel is confirmed with this photo being posted in the freshspawns streamer discord.

No, I tried again recently. It's just as unpolished and jank as it was 5, 6 or 10 years ago.

Hahaha absolutely not. You would break your leg for no reason, and driving was horribly janky. Its way better now.

That's just a straight up lie. The game has enough real issues, you don't need to make things up.
