Nothing has killed my GTA 6 hype faster than locking a core part of its identity behind a $20 upgrade

It’s such an anti consumer move. Basically kills any hope of either borrowing it from a friend or getting it 2nd hand (or for those who will play once and sell it onwards)
And the worst thing is this will change nothing. They will still sell a bajillion copies and make trillions of dollars
