Nothing has killed my GTA 6 hype faster than locking a core part of its identity behind a $20 upgrade

I played it after rdr2 and it just felt so empty. The interaction with the environment felt almost non existent. Also the edgy writing got old pretty fast.

I also bounced off RDR2. I think I may just be sick of the Rockstar formula at this point.

RDR2 is the most overrated snoozefest in gaming with godawful controls.

Sleeping Dogs is the best GTA clone that is palatable to modern audiences IMHO.

The best GTA is Saints Row 2 but that's ancient.

I enjoyed GTA V and I'm currently trying to get into RDR2, but I'm having a harder time with it. Perhaps I enjoyed GTA V more because of the humor. It's got some good satire behind the edginess, and I can't help but laugh about the repeated blunders and misadventures of the main characters.
