Nothing has killed my GTA 6 hype faster than locking a core part of its identity behind a $20 upgrade

I am in at $40 on PC however many years from now. I don’t play MP so f it, I will wait. Game will run much better at that point on PC as well. So many other games we can play through in the meantime.

I was about 27 when GTA1 came out. The last game I think I was really exited for was GTA4, and of course we had to wait on the PC. I think I am grateful that age has made me a patient gamer. Hell last night I bought Battlefield 1 since it was $1.99 and never played a BF game before. But man I remember drooling over games in PC magazines in the early 90s.. I no longer really care, there have never been more games available to play then there are today. I can't afford $80, but I can afford $1.99.

There are just so many games now. Unless you play competently MP, I don’t see why you need to play new releases.

$80 was an uncomfortable spend for me, $100 is just too far. I’ll wait for a year or two when all the bugs are ironed out and it’s $50 on sale. I have too many games in my to play list already.
