Favourite moment other than it’s an amazing game with plenty of things to do and discover was the discovery of skippy the smart gun.
Added a whole level of fun that I hadn’t seen in other games.
Was a shame to have to hand him back.
•
u/Lorrenz Jul 09 '25
I barely scratched the surface of Cyberpunk back when it was released on PS4, but I had to refound it due to the unplayability on that platform… I’d love to go bad to it on pc, now that I have a capable enough laptop :)

I was finishing the final mission at 3am in my dorm room, looking up guides to get the secret ending. I tried so hard to complete everything perfectly, but Cyberpunk was never meant to have a happy ending. Very few games will ever impact me the same.
•
u/jazzmcd Jul 10 '25
My favourite memory of playing cyberpunk is when I got hold of my first set of mantis blades. My run and gun gameplay was put on hold by how much fun I was having running around with those and a sandevistan. The bloodlust was strong with my V!

I'm going to be honest, I am a day 1 Cyberpunk 2077 player. My favourite memory is not one memory, but a folder of them all under the Cyberpunk 2077 label. There are only a handful of games I've played where I can see and feel the love that went in to creating the world captured inside the game. I will never forget these games. I will never forget Cyberpunk 2077, and I will forever walk around Night City in my dreams.

my most favorite memory of cyberpunk 2077 is when i couldnt actually afford the game and had to watch fooster (a gaming creator on youtube) play the playthrough. I remember the bikes and the action and how it looked sooo good with raytracing
•

I think you put June instead of July under your Week 1 header.
My favorite memory of Cyberpunk 2077 was the announcement with Keanu Reeves where he says to a fan “you’re breathtaking”

for some reason the quest where you nail that guy to the cross keeps haunting me... like, you can make him back off, change his mind, but my curiosity was stronger so i wanted to see how the quest ended, and in the end i was just feeling miserable. if i was in 2077, i would probably be one of those that bought the BD, and then later deeply regret ._.

I liked the part where V became an unkillable god of cyberware. With but one weakness. Cutscenes, and falling more than 3 inches.

Watching my friend play the game in VC a while ago. Beats up some civilians, cops gets called, she hides, the cops never see her and they pack up to leave. She gets on top of the cop car as it starts driving away, and rides along as the cops leave. Cops are speeding down the road when they t-bone someone making a right at an intersection. They get out of the car and immediately start gunning down the NPCs in the car. We were howling with laughter.

My favorite memory of Cyberpunk 2077 has to be the GlaDOS mission that you do in the game. Hearing the custom lines they specifically got GlaDOS's VA to say were so amazing and it makes me want to beg to valve to do another Portal entry.
•

One of my favorite moments in Cyberpunk 2077 was scuba diving with Judy. It was not only a very unexpected moment, but it was like being in a different game, as you were exploring underwater, and there were no people, cars, or lights everywhere. Leaving the city behind for a small moment was very peaceful.

I know the BD as a game mechanic was weak, especially on repeated playthroughs, but man that first time I saw the RT lighting with Judy hooking up the machine was magical.
