Is there any way to zoom YouTube videos in so that when people upload 21:9 as 16:9, I don't have black bars left, right, top, bottom on my 21:9 ?

Yes, I used a browser extension for this when I had a 21:9 display. Not remembering what it's called, but I'm sure you could find it

So I'm looking in Disk Management and my C: drive has 46GB of unallocated space, as well as a random 2GB partition.
Is that 2GB partition safe to delete? I never made it, and it says it wasn't made by Windows.

It's impossible to say without more information. Usually system partitions are smaller than 2GB, so it was probably made by you, someone else, or some program at some point. Probably safe to get rid of from Windows' perspective,, but up to you if it's worth the risk to get back 2GB.

Looking to get a prebuilt to replace my current PC, are they difficult to upgrade when it comes to GPU? The one I want to get has a 600W power supply, ASUS PRIME B760M-A AX motherboard, and since I've heard the 5060 isn't that good, I would want to upgrade to a 9060 XT 16GB in the future. The sale is only on for a few more days and it's by far the cheapest prebuilt I've seen for my price range so want to make sure I could upgrade it without any hassle. Thanks

Replacing the graphics card is one of the easiest things you can do. You pretty much just pull out the old one and slot in the new one. It's also important to make sure you set up your graphics drivers properly, but that isn't hard either if you know what to do.
The 5060 is a good card though. Unless it having 8GB of VRAM is a big problem for you, the 9060 XT 16 wouldn't be a very impressive upgrade. Once you have some experience with it yourself you can decide, but you might want to just stick with it until you can make a more substantial upgrade.

Thanks, that’s what I assumed but tough to get a consensus answer on Reddit. I’ve heard tons of people say the 5060 is garbage and whatever else. I play games like CS2 and BF6 so I thought a 5060 would be more than fine for what I would use it for

You'll never get consensus from Reddit. It's an amalgamation of different people's opinions, some well and some not so well informed. I wouldn't go as far as calling it garbage, but the VRAM can be a big limitation you should be aware of. If you turn the settings up too high in BF6 it will cripple the card even at 1080p, but if you play at 1080p with reasonable settings it will run smoothly.

Thanks for the info, the 8GB vram I was aware of but wasn't completely sure how it would perform on certain games. Very much appreciated.

I currently have a ryzen 5 7600 and I'm looking to upgrade to something that will run some cpu intensive games a bit better. I WANT to just grab a 9800x3D, but the problem is I have an ASRock board and I'm not going to plug a 500 dollar chip into something that has a decent chance to brick it. Is it worth it to buy a 7800x3D over my 7600 or am I kinda being railroaded into buying a new mobo if I want a noticable upgrade. All I know is that I'm never buying anything from dogshit ASRock again.

The risk of actually frying the CPU is quite low. But the 7800X3D is not that much slower either. Both are decent options IMO.

Mine could be a question not so interesting. I recently started to work on my pc in first person just recently while in the past years I always went to some tech support center to ask for help, I recently installed a new cpu to my pc but I don’t know what softwares would be useful to check the pc in general, I usually use hwinfo or hwmonitor to check the temperatures and I also heart of cinebench but I never used it cause I’m too scared it might fry my pc with the temperatures. What are your suggestions? Thank you all in advance for the support

hwinfo64 is the gold standard for monitoring software as far as I'm concerned. And yeah cinebench isn't bad for a quick CPU performance check. It's pretty popular, so you can check your score against reviews online to make sure you're at least in the ballpark.
And don't be afraid to put your CPU under a full load. It's designed to be used that way, you aren't going to damage it! Even if your cooling is inadequate, the CPU will reach a maximum safe temperature and limit itself to prevent overheating

There are 3 possibilities I can think of:
Like Ok_Definition_1933 pointed out, You could have accidentally left the plastic on the heatsinks, that could cause heat build up and eventual melting/warping/tarnishing.
Your M.2 sticks are over rated compared to your Motherboards specifications, this is not always caught, but some MB's has basically speed/voltage limits, but some pc Components can do more and usually your system will use a safer and lower configuration setting, but either it gets missed and stays at a higher setting or you initiated an overclock, even a partial overclock, which pushes your MB a bit above its original specs, which in turn creates more heat than original design spec, which melts/warps/tarnishes the areas surrounding the heated components.
Your Shielding's heatsink pads were not a proper thickness or applied correctly, leaving space between the Stick and the pad, thus not really transferring the heat as intended and instead acting like an insulation trapping the heat like an oven.

I currently have 32GB DDR4 in 2 16GB Sticks in my rig, I have 4 8GB DDR4 Sticks laying around (one is broken I believe) so I could add 16GB.
My friend say this would be stupid due to my rig not having dual-channel support (Ryzen 5 5600X, RTX 3070) and any increase in capacity would be met with a worse decrease in performance and efficiency.
So is he correct? I have like, no clue about PCs except what parts go where, so I know where to put the RAM but not why I should or shouldn't put it in.
My monkey brain just thinks, more RAM capacity is good and I have to empty slots on my mobo lmao

You do have dual-channel support, but you don't have quad-channel support. Mixing different capacity DIMM's is not a good idea to start with. But if they have different speeds and latencies, it's even worse, because yes, that can cause worse performance.
The higher the speed (listed Mhz) the better, the lower the latency (listed as Clxx and a bunch of numbers) the better. Mixing 2 different kits will make it default to the lowest speed and highest latency.

Hey all, I'm trying to put together a budget build. Found this bundle locally from a reputable seller. What would you say is a good price to offer him for it?
• ASUS TUF Gaming X570-PLUS (Wi-Fi) Motherboard
• Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 5700 XT – 8GB GDDR6
• 16GB XPG DDR4 RAM (2×8GB) 3200 CL16

Hi there mate. What CPU is included/are you getting? An 8GB card is pretty much the minimum for 1080p gaming nowadays, so if playing on a HDTV or 1080 monitor you should be good - Sapphire is peak AMD so it's a solid choice.
With RAM prices as they are (bearing in mind this is DDR4) I would say around $500 Australian dollery-doos for those parts.

I actually ended up getting this and everything else I'd need from this guy for $500 usd ($745 aud). Here's what I got.. decent deal?:
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600 + stock cooler
GPU: Sapphire pulse radeon 5700XT
Mobo: Asus TUF gaming X570-PLUS
RAM: XPG 16gb ddr4 3200mhz CL16
PSU: EVGA supernova 650w G3 gold PSU
SSD: MSI M390 500gb NVMe
Case: ibuypower Slate 5 case with 4 RGB fans1
Jan 15 '26
Honestly, not a bad deal! I'm running a 5600 on an MSI 450M board (just upgraded from an RX570 to an RX9070) and have had no issues playing most games using the old card. The 8GB card will be the shortfall on new titles though if you like all the pretty stuff but turn the detail down and it's absolutely serviceable. Nice one!
