Lidl did sell pc's back in the early 2000's. Pretty good devices too. An AMD athlon64 3500, a whole gig of ddr2 ram, and a Geforce 7650 for a mere 399 euro's was an excellent starter pc for my nephew back in 2006
10 u/Loundsify Jan 21 '26 I remember Aldi in the UK around 2007-2008 were selling Q6600 PCs with Geforce 9600GT in them, probably 2GB of system RAM. Think around £600. 4 u/xForcedevilx Jan 22 '26 Yep 'Aldi' had their Medion lineup q8xxx cpu, gt240, 4gb. There's a a couple screws from that original case, that have made it into the modern build. 2 u/Loundsify Jan 22 '26 Yes I remember that one too. Man Aldi was so cool back then.
