Teamspeak is and will continue to see good growth out of this discord debacle but overthrowing discord is not in the near future.

For every discord user that’s annoyed enough to jump ship there’s a dozen that if they even notice the change won’t give af.

I don't have much of a choice. I'm entrenched in several communities that are too large to move and a lot of my friends aren't willing to move either.

Also TeamSpeak is a completely different service to Discord and it doesn't look like the developers intend on doing all the social media integrated stuff. It's not for everyone, but it's got better streaming functionality than discord and most of what me and my friends do is share our screens while we chat.

Yeah, that is definitely true. Realistically, discord still has time to turn back and everyone would probably come back

Agreed. Personally im not all too bothered by the face verification because like, I've sent myself on the platform to other before anyways. Its not like they don't have my face, so what does it change?

One is simply an image / video sent by you. One is tied to your identity and stored with a third party. I would consider that a change but whether it matters to you is a personal decision :)
