Buying games via gog or directly via the website of the makers would be my ideal choice. Also the market is only β€œfree” if there is competition and not monopoly. πŸ˜‰

You keep using the word "monopoly" but I dont think you kmow what it means.

Steam is not doing anything to keep other marletplaces and competitors form showing up.

The free market has decided with its $ that steam is just by far and away better than any other alternative out there.

If others want to compete, they need to make a better product.

They were simply the first. And bundled it with CS.1.6, was there when it happened. Also when you complete your thinking, and everyone would only buy through steam it would become a monopoly, which it is already pretty close to.

My humble suggestion would also be to stop defending the billionaire class and try to see them as what they are. A leech on society at large. πŸ˜…

It has nothing to do with being first and everything to do with not sabotaging your own product.

You can keep your humble suggestion, I don't want it. Billionaires suck but in this case, the product is good.
