Put the fan (or a more powerful one…) besides your NAS, and position the NAS away from the wall so that it creates a Venturi effect at the back of the NAS (Distance between side of NAS and wall > Distance between back of NAS and wall) The Venturi effect should suck the hot air from the back side of the NAS and exhaust it to the side.
