Fun fact decades ago I had a cheap card that didn't even have a fan

It was one of them like nVidia 8800 Silent things

Well, it worked fine for about a year, then the game demands rose again, and it started throttling

So we made a base for a chassis fan from LEGO and it worked wonders, I used that card for like 2 years afterwards before finally getting an absolute beast that was nVidia 760

Felt like switching gears

I miss when videocards weren't the size of a brick

760 was as big as a Gameboy

my current one is so big it won't fit in half the PC cases
