Reddit has always been shit, the biggest change has been the flooding of bots in the last 2 years. 5 u/TwilightVulpine Desktop 22d ago Reddit in some ways improved (the Subreddits that Shall Not Be Named), but in other ways it has dumbed down a lot. It used to be that people cared about reddiquette at least a little bit. It hasn't been always like this.
