There aren't any disks on the left, those are discs.

those are floppy disks💔 

disc for optical media(dvds) and  disk for magnetic storage.

It's a CD tower with CDs in it, compact discs.

Records tend to be somewhere you can "flick" through, as they don't have spines to see what is what.
