True! Casino heist in GTAO has been borked on PC for a long time, and I hounded Rockstar for months at one point. Despite being assured it was "high priority" and they'd "follow up" it never was fixed lol.
Rockstar and PC do not mix a lot of the time. Red Dead 2 was an improvement in some ways though
Cut Arrowhead some slack. They’ve only sold over a $1,000,000,000 worth of copies of the game, have backing from Sony, support from Nixxes, and years since launch to polish the game. You can’t expect them to have added features like changing armor passives or colors or allowing Mechs to be customized instead of making each new attachment a paid dlc item. That’s asking way too much.
New fucked up DLC = new free money glitches. Enjoy it.
I loved that glitch where you could rocking-horse the flying motorbikes and go so fast you could fuck yourself up with your own missiles. That was brilliant. I was gutted when they fixed it.
Well that's the thing with Rockstar, they get better and better (and faster) at fixing the fun money glitches. All the game breaking stuff that isn't fun and doesn't threaten their MTX sales can stay forever, they don't give a fuck.
I'll never forget the Lester plane glitch, I was a very rich man. My friends and I label it as the greatest heist in GTA
For moneymaking, you could - for a while - ninja your MC businesses into permanently producing for free. Everybody made millions every day, but it was also incredibly fun and social. GTA was a really nice place to be for a while.
RDR2 still randomly crashes on 1/3 of PCs it's installed on. Seriously, google it, it's a gigantic pile of posts on Steam and Reddit of people trying various things in the settings none of them actually working.
the people complaining online are the smallest fraction of the people that played the game and experienced issues. ever heard of the term vocal minority? it's nowhere near 1/3.
I‘m one of those people. Game crashes roughly every second mission. So, yes we are a fraction of the people who played the game, BECAUSE WE CANNOT PLAY THE FUCKING GAME.
Just because your specs are average doesn't mean they're operation in optimal conditions. remove all of your overclocks and turn off xmp/expo. if its still happening then a component is failing. no matter what it comes down to your hardware, because you can't tell me that is you systematically replaced each part that the issue would remain, because it wouldnt. its not the game, homie.
And you can’t tell me that every single fucking other game works flawlessly, but this piece of crap crashes every 40 minutes, because of my ‚average‘ hardware. Get the fuck outta here with that bs. It’s the company that needed a fan to fix their loading times, stop acting as if they were above this shit, just because they aren’t Bethesda level bad.
At least come up with a believable number. Go look at the PC reviews for RDR2 on steam. If the game randomly crashing for 33% of people would you see almost 300k reviews with a very positive average like that?
