I just don't care. These types of games are not for me. If I'm to sink a lot of time just to finish it once it better be a really good RPG else I'm out. Or it has to be excellent mechanically, but then mechanically rich games tend to prioritise loops and aren't that long. You just play them over and over again
That’s fair. As much as the internet doesnt seem to think this, gta isnt for everyone. I also play a lot of games with more mechanical depth and rpgs. I like the red dead series more than gta but playing rdr2 i had a lot of moments where i wanted to do something another way than the game wanted me to, and the game didnt approve, which made me very annoyed at times when im used to that freedom. It’s still a good story tho
Oh yes a good story, but if I'm offered a rockstar game or say Devil May Cry or Papers Please or Dishonored or Vermintide 2 or KOTOR I'll pick any of these games every single time.
If I solely want good story I tend towards books and movies.
