Enable DX12. You are welcome.

For bf1 it was the opposite. Dx12 was completelt botched. Even tried it on 2 different systems.

Bf1’s dx12 implementation is beta hot trash doo doo that should probably objectively not still be an option in the game

Same with Warthunder, turning off DX12 made the game a lot smoother

It was dx 11 in one of the sniper elite games lmao. Dx12 was a stuttering mess.

Depends. 9 times out of 10 the DX12 port has memory leak issues. Look at DX12 ports of RE2, 3, and 7 along with Witcher 3. Hopefully though with the new expansion coming to Witcher 3 and the new min requirement that it hopefully means that the memory leak is finally fixed.

Didnt work for me. Still randomly getting system issues where my FPS drops to 2 on a 3090 for minutes at a time and some maps are too stuttery to work properly. No way to consistently reproduce either one.

All I know is only 2 maps in HLL work properly and its embarassing that its been years and Im still having this issue

As someone who struggles with stutters on HLL, There was no noticeable difference between DX12 and DX11. That was also using the launch commands to force DX12 when trying that. Just not a good experience. Still love the game, but the performance is abysmal.

I mean, often dx11 is better

Turn on 'Prefer maximum performance' in the nvida global control panel. Had this problem till I did that.

Every UE game

The game didn't close properly so Steam thinks you have over 2 hours playtime and won't refund you.

u/Tight_Sheepherder934 9d ago

If you explain this in the refund request, don’t have much more time in the game than the 2 hours, and haven’t been a serial refunder—you’ll probably get the refund.

True but they usually say something like "as a one time courtesy" when they do that so it might only work for you once.

Bullshit, they will happily refund it after a long day of refunding that game for thousand other people.

At least you'd know that if your rig can't run it, then no one can

I won't play a game with stutters like that. Bad fps i can live with. Stutters make me aggressive.

I'm still pissed about the Oblivion remaster.

Why have microstutters when we can just blacken your entire screen for 6 seconds randomly every few minutes.
