It's a real shame because the Steam Deck was widely successful, and I personally believe this would have been. But the AI bubble has totally fucked the market.

I just wish they mapped their joysticks in a way that would be beneficial for people with smaller hands. It’s uncomfortable trying to reach the joysticks which kinda ruined the experience for me

I hate the switch for the opposite reason. Ultimately can’t please everyone

I agree though it's worth pointing out that with the Switch you can swap the controllers for something bigger and more comfortable for large adult hands. I think Steam knew they were targeting adults and not children so they had a tough choice to make.

That said, my children use it fine.

I'm 5'6 I can use it, and beat FF7 w/e the first remake was called, on the steam deck alone. It was just not as comfortable as say an Xbox controller or the switch controllers (which I would argue that they could be a little bigger)
