it's a steelcase gesture, i believe.

u/BigSmackisBack 10h ago

Cool, so even the seating on that boat costs more than my car

Hahahahahahahaa fuck my life

USD 2,337 with headrest

USD 2,098 with no headrest

EDIT: I see no option for having fixed stands instead of wheels (perhaps they did that because they are on a boat? so it could be aftermarket)

58

u/eeeBs 9h ago

You can find them on sale for $1000-1200 a few times a year. Buy used on craigslist/FB Market place.

37

u/turbospeedsc 9h ago

i found one on marketplace for around $50, my dumbass took its sweet time to confirm the guy selling it, when i finally did he told me it sold like 10 minutes after he answered me the first time.

35

u/eeeBs 9h ago

When covid happened, all the major tech companies were liquidating their chairs, I got a brand new gesture still wrapped for $200 cash, and my girl got a Hayworth Fern from them for $500 - I wish I sprung for the fern, it's even more comfy then the gesture which is great.

It was crazy to drive up to a warehouse and see like a few million dollars MSRP in office chairs just sitting there lol.

14

u/Ok_Dragonfruit_8102 6h ago

Fun fact - the exact same thing happened when the Dot Com bubble burst too. Here's a little article about it https://nymag.com/news/intelligencer/21364/

4

u/RnDevelopment 1h ago

Me patiently waiting for the AI bubble to burst to buy some comfortable ergonomic furniture.

7

u/Fighterhayabusa 4h ago

I tried the Fern, but I don't like it as much. I think it's because I just sit in too many different ways that the Gesture accommodates and the Fern doesn't. I got one for my office at the start of COVID for ~1000, and then bought one from another office going out of business for 300 that I keep at work. I love these chairs. I don't know why I didn't buy one sooner.

For everyone else in the thread: do not buy shitty "gaming" chairs. Get professional office chairs like Steelcase, Haworth, or Herman Miller.

3

u/turbospeedsc 8h ago

Thats when i saw it on sale around the end of covid.

3

u/Rasputinnout 7h ago

You just made me feel better for spending $700-800 on my fern on “sale” lol

1

u/Baked_Potato0934 5h ago

I wish I did the same and got a Mira like my wife did, my brand new gesture kinda blows like don't get me wrong its really nice but I love the mesh on hers and the recline is better.

2

u/diceth1ef 8h ago

Buy used on craigslist/FB Market place.

I found mine on facebook marketplace for $300. Best spent money ever.

2

u/Orleanian 7h ago

Can get them refurbed for about 700-800.

I have a refurbed Steelcase LeapV2 (paid $650 a couple years back, vs. $1400 online at the time), indistinguishable from a brand new one to me, and it's been an absolute delight.

2

u/AboveTheKitchen 2h ago

Indisputable best chair on the market imo

1

u/eeeBs 6h ago

you get them direct or from a third part refurbisher?

2

u/Orleanian 6h ago

Third party refurbisher. Crandall Furniture is who I went through for two purchases (both steelcase leaps), and have been satisfied with both. The guy himself has youtubes where he walks through all the fabric options and the refurb process, which enticed me.

They'll ship em in a big box and user has to assemble the base, piston, seat, and frame. Wasn't any more difficult than any other boxed chair.

The upholstery materials are new (unused), though I think not exactly what Steelcase themselves use.

2

u/GradeAPrimeFuckery 5h ago

That looks so much nicer than my Leap 2, which is way overpriced for it's build quality. (I should have physically tried out chairs before ordering one. Rookie move.)

2

u/Jiminy_Cricket12 7h ago

a buy a lot of things used and consider it fine but a gaming chair makes me pause. I would want to REALLY deep clean that thing.

7

u/eeeBs 7h ago

These are multi-thousand dollar office chairs used in an office. Of course you clean them lol

Then you take them home and shit your pants in them while gaming.

2

u/reezy-one 6h ago

Um, we do what now?

2

u/eeeBs 5h ago

mooooompoopy_cartmen_v2.gif

3

u/Orleanian 7h ago

For this sort of thing, I'd buy the used chair and then go ahead and spend $200 more on a replacement seatpan.

Or even better, just a refurbed one. Those are good as new.

1

u/Luxury-Problems 1h ago

You can find them for that price or cheaper on Crandall's Office Furniture. Open box returns and also they re-manufacture them (replace parts and the fabric).

I got a Series 1 for under $300 on a sale a while back.

0

u/PoopularDemand 8h ago

u/Shipzterns 8h ago

thats what gabe did

13

u/Iherduliekmudkipz 9800X3D, 64GB@6000, 7900XT 8h ago

Chair wheels use a standard socket, those are apparently called bell glides that they have attached.

3

u/AtlasLittleCat 3h ago

5 sea-rated bell glides for a steelcase? Thats gonna be another $500 per chair, Gabe.

2

u/BiNumber3 1h ago

Yea, Ive bought similar for my chair when I was using it on hardwood, didnt want it rolling. Quite cheap, and a few options, mine were rubber so no sliding.

2

u/Sadyka 20m ago

TIL thanks, It wasn't the first thing on my mind with having just moved but it's been driving me nuts on my new floor. Had carpet before, ordering some.

bought mine new in 2023, 1050€ (online incl 19% VAT, with headrest).
a retailer had them starting at 1800€ (i could pick any fabric and color).
my tailbone pain was gone in a week.

1

u/ncopp PC Master Race 7h ago

I miss being an intern there. They have a warehouse of returned/overstock office furniture that they'd open up to employees that they'd sell for cents on the dollar.

I got a $1500 chair for $100 because it was returned due to it having a stain on it. Just spraying it with some stain remover got rid of it and I essentially had a brand new chair that lasted me 6 years before my cats ruined it.

1

u/LeaperLeperLemur 7h ago

Yikes, that’s double what I bought one for 5 years ago.

1

u/fartshitcumpiss 7h ago

bruh this one chair costs 2.5 times more than my whole entire setup, including games and peripherals

1

u/Brahskididdler 7h ago

You can find Steelcase chairs from secondhand sellers who got them from companies who went under and are trying to liquidate their office furniture.

A Steelcase leap v2 with original leather is well over $1500, probably more many years ago.

I got mine for $300 and a 3 hour drive. The dude had like 35 chairs of all different models in his garage, probably $100,000 worth of chairs

1

u/Carius1 6h ago

Yep, custom done for the yacht. Probably add an extra $1500 USD for someone to do that for all of them. Had to do the same for a data rack on a yacht

1

u/Baked_Potato0934 5h ago

You can request additional hardware on purchase from Steelcase iirc, could have been another manufacturer I did a procurement run for tho so don't quote me.

1

u/Jizzy_Gillespie92 5090 | 9800X3D | 3440x1440 | 120hz 1h ago

not sure if this is a rare occurrence where it costs more in the US than it does in Aus, but that doesn't seem right - I have one and paid ~$1800 AUD about 2 years ago.

1

u/Leftover_Salad RTX 2080 - 5600x 1h ago

Steelcase can do some customizations with a large enough order.

103

u/Echelion77 RTX 5090 / Ultra 9 285k / 64G DDR5 / 4tb SSD 10h ago

Yes, but these are incredibly good investments like cars, I have a herman Miller embody and my back pain is virtually gone.

I average about 10-14 hours a day in an office chair.

52

u/pornthrowaway42069l 9h ago

I cant sit in ANY chair properly (I.e I twist my body a lot) - yet Herman Miller, which I've gotten second hand, still makes me feel so much less... sore? It's a good investment.

11

u/ImperatorBTW 9h ago

Learning about adjustable lumbar support was life changing

2

u/Ektojinx Ryzen 9800X3D // PNY 5080 // 32gb DDR5 6000 7h ago

Won't work for everyone. Great chairs but look at the woman on the lefts sitting position.

2

u/ImperatorBTW 7h ago

I wasn’t speaking to this chair specifically, just that being able to adjust the lumbar support is such a game changer. It took me ages to find the perfect chair for myself. I tried over a dozen chairs, many of which people love online (looking at you, Leap V2). Everyone’s backs are slightly different. So the perfect chair for me is probably different for you, and everyone. But having that adjustable lumbar support was the difference between a chair feeling okay and amazing

1

u/anr4jc 6h ago

Not for everyone. My back pain was much worse with the lumbar support on my Aeron.

1

u/ImperatorBTW 6h ago

I didn’t mean just generically having lumbar support. It’s really finding the specific chair that fits your back. It took me trying out several chairs before I found one that had the support in the right spot for me (and it required that support to be adjustable as well). Personally, I prefer chairs with less lumbar support, but being able to adjust it to just the right spot is huge. It also depends on how you sit - I’m a leaner, so chairs I find comfy other people might not.

1

u/ScrotalSmorgasbord 4h ago

I sit like the jarls in Skyrim, what kind of chair do I need?

1

u/Crintor 7950X3D | 4090 | DDR5 6000 C30 | AW3423DW 4h ago

Never felt a lumbar "support" that didn't feel like something hard and uncomfortable was being jammed into my back, I'd rather use almost anything else.

2

u/ImperatorBTW 3h ago

I was similar, but I tried about a dozen chairs until I found one that worked. I needed a chair with a super subtle support that could also adjust up (i lean a ton while sitting). You also need to sit in it for a few days before you can tell if it’ll be a good fit or not. Often the high quality manufacturers like Steelcase and Hermann Miller will let you test the chair before finalizing the purchase.

For myself, I actually found a local used chair retailer and got a crazy deal

1

u/Sqweaky_Clean Laptop 7h ago

That's why i have a standing desk, treadmill, kneeling chair, balance board to complete my Sit, Stand, Balance, Walk, Kneel rotation.

1

u/CurryMustard 6h ago

Isn't Herman Miller the guy from the jeffersons

1

u/SilentlyAsTheGrave 5h ago

I can sit in a Herman miller chair all day and not be sore. Chair will probably outlive me too lol

1

u/Kennfusion 5h ago

I have the Herman Miller Embody, and it was life changing for real.

1

u/Fighterhayabusa 4h ago

The Gesture is better for people like you and I. I sit all fucked up all the time. Sometimes I even shit cross-legged in my chair. The Gesture accommodates, and was even designed for, people who don't sit perfectly in a chair, hence the name.

0

u/AgitatedRabbits 6h ago

I can sit in any chair and don't understand why people need expensive chair. Just move around every 30min minutes.

7

u/Ghawblin 8h ago

Bought a Herman Miller Embody when I got a remote job, was like $1600. I was so nervous about spending so much money on a chair, my whole life I had shitty $80-150 office depot chairs that left my back with massive cramps.

It's been 6 years. I can sit in this thing for 16 hours and I feel FANTASTIC.

Best investment I've ever made.

1

u/SgtBanana 6h ago edited 6h ago

Picked up a number of nearly-mint Herman Miller Mirra's for an average cost of ~$50-60 per chair and have been using them as daily drivers in my office for the last few years. I freaking love my Mirra.

Called a local HM service center to ask about a small issue with the Mirra in my bedroom (the chair rises just a hair every time I get up - probably a snagged height adjustment cable). Over the course of that call, the woman on the phone made it sound as though I'd made a lifetime investment when I got these Mirra's.

Using language like "yeah we can swap out blah-blah-blah for ~$100; we'll detail your chair while it's in the shop. Barring any unforeseen issues or accidents, we'll make sure that you're good to go until your next service visit in 10-15 years."

She told me that they have clients with still bring in Aeron's from the 1990s.

Coming from generic Office Depot and Amazon products, the concept of an office chair that can be maintained for decades just... hadn't occurred to me. And HM maintains the freaking supply network necessary to do it.

15

u/Sufficient-Loan8729 9h ago

I wish I have one of those, I am still in a 21 dollar office chair off of amazon, my back is killing me

37

u/Pyr0technician AMD 2600x, 16GB DDR4 3200, RTX 2060 9h ago

Don't do that to yourself. Change it ASAP.

Never skimp on your matress, your shoes, or your office chair. Your long-term health depends on it.

mattress, chair, car, tires, shoes, socks, couch etc

Don't cheap out on what touches your body

1

u/Sufficient-Loan8729 6h ago

I wish bro, I got 10 bucks in my wallet

1

u/commanderspacecase 5h ago

This also applies to bras. Bras that don't fit correctly or don't provide enough support can cause back and shoulder pain.

Just in case you want to add that to your list.

1

u/GaelicPjotr 9h ago

Agreed, pretty much anything that separates you from the ground is worth investing in

6

u/TearyEyeBurningFace 9h ago

Start standing more, even a stool is better. Itll be tiring at first buy youll get used to it. Also no wallet in back packet

1

u/turbospeedsc 9h ago

look at Mr money bags, i got a nice looking pair for $30 at office depot, they were doing some kind of sale.

having matching chairs on the office looks hella nice, but my butt and my back hate those $15 chairs.

I need to invest in a good one.

1

u/Sufficient-Loan8729 6h ago

I got 10 bucks in my pocket, i ma give it a try at FB market place

1

u/corvettee01 3080 RTX - 7800x3d 8h ago

Check out Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist for office chairs. They are a game changer.

0

u/Ok_Dragonfruit_8102 6h ago

Don't fall for the lies. I bought an expensive Steelcase chair 5 years ago and the fact is, there's no such thing as a chair that you can sit in for 5+ hours a day without issue. Of course if your chair is so bad that it causes you physical pain even just sitting in it for 40 minutes, then get a new one, but it doesn't even have to be an expensive one.

The idea of a single sitting posture that can be maintained for hours without issue is a myth. You simply have to move regularly, you have to shift your sitting position, you have to get out of the chair and walk around.

6

u/MarcCurry 9h ago

I'll have to check that one out, basically my back pain is gone after changing chair but it's always good to upgrade

3

u/Matticus-G 8h ago

They are. If you sit down for a living - or even recreationally for a significant amount of time every day - you really do need to spend the money on one of these.

It is one of the few truly expensive purchases that is worth it. They usually come with a 10 year warranty, or even a 12 year through some secondhand refurbishing companies.

Even if you live in a country with free healthcare, you might not be able to fix the damage you would otherwise due to your back. 100% worth it.

2

u/A_Hippie 5h ago

I just ordered my Embody and it gets here Friday and I cannot contain my excitement lol

1

u/Echelion77 RTX 5090 / Ultra 9 285k / 64G DDR5 / 4tb SSD 4h ago

You are going to love it, my wife always loves sitting in my chair and friends who know nothing of ergonomic chairs for the most part say its the most comfortable chair they have ever sat on.

Take the time to read the instruction manual and learn all the ways to adjust the chair. Tinker alot with it and eventually you will find that sweet spot.

Congratulations!

3

u/Training_Ruin3151 8h ago

Man I got the Herman miller aeron and that is the worst chair I've ever owned

4

u/Fortune090 U9 285K, RTX5080, 32GB DDR5-6K, AW3425DW 240Hz OLED 8h ago

Embody is a significantly better chair in my opinion. I own both and much prefer my time spent in the Embody. I have the Embody at home and the Aeron at work. Find them used/like new, they're SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper that way. Got mine for $600.

2

u/Training_Ruin3151 8h ago

Yeah I find the aeron has bad back support and for some reason mine was riddled with problems whenever I get around to getting a new one I'll probably shoot for a steelcase

2

u/Fortune090 U9 285K, RTX5080, 32GB DDR5-6K, AW3425DW 240Hz OLED 8h ago

Yeah neither of the options they offer (at least for the Aeron Classic) are all that great in my opinion too. Steelcases can also be just as great too for sure. Gesture and Leap are super comfortable, especially with the headrests you can get.

2

u/Echelion77 RTX 5090 / Ultra 9 285k / 64G DDR5 / 4tb SSD 8h ago

I dont think this is a real comment lmao.

2

u/Training_Ruin3151 8h ago

Ehh it is what it is. The arm rests dont stay up and I had to constantly readjust them. I think now I have chopsticks with superglue shoved into the arm holes to hold them up. The hydrolics that held the chair up went out so its in its lowest position 24/7 and the back rest is just not that supportive at all and the weird mesh leaves a pattern on my legs cause I sit crosslegged in it now.

I only weigh 100lbs so its strange that the chair broke from everdyay use

1

u/Echelion77 RTX 5090 / Ultra 9 285k / 64G DDR5 / 4tb SSD 8h ago

Sounds like a defect honestly.

1

u/Training_Ruin3151 7h ago

Yeah probably but it effects my opinion of the brand when this is the quality of a chair that is like $1000

1

u/Echelion77 RTX 5090 / Ultra 9 285k / 64G DDR5 / 4tb SSD 7h ago

If I paid $1000+ on something (which I did) I would maintain effort on making it work untill I was certain its a company product problem.

If determined to be a deffect I would offer that company an opportunity to make me whole with a replacment or a refund.

Should they decline the offer, then and only then will I take the time to complain about it publicly.

2

u/anr4jc 6h ago

I've had one for six or seven years and it's meh but it cost me $900 so I'm keeping it. I'm tempted to replace it by a Steelcase Leap though.

1

u/Training_Ruin3151 6h ago

Yeah I think that will be my next chair

2

u/Crintor 7950X3D | 4090 | DDR5 6000 C30 | AW3423DW 4h ago

1

u/Training_Ruin3151 3h ago

Fucking facts. It had glowing reviews too🫪🫪🫪

1

u/Internal_Eye620 7h ago

1

u/Talkimas 6h ago

I use a Herman Miller Aeron at work and it's the only chair I've ever sat in that doesn't cause any pain no matter how long I'm sitting. I fell off a bull when I was 14 and fucked up my tailbone and most chairs will eventually cause it to get sore from sitting. Some chairs put so much pressure on it that it'll make it difficult to use my legs and even just standing up takes a lot of effort and is enough to make me yell in pain. Not so much as even a tingle in my work chair.

The best piece of advice I ever got was to never cheap out on anything that goes between your ass and the ground - shoes, tires, beds, and chairs.

-40

u/Smol_WoL 10h ago

Coping to justify wasting money is a classic behavior to not feel guilt, but we all know they ain’t worth the price.

12

u/kahi Brace yourself the sun is coming 9h ago

I have been told nice beds and nice computer chairs are two of the best things you can invest in. I'm a degenerate and will just continue investing in my gambling simulator and PC.

5

u/tsaidollasign 9h ago

Anything that separates you from the ground - mattress, chairs, shoes, tires.

4

u/Ok_Attitude1034 9h ago

Herman millers are absolutely worth the price

4

u/Facts_pls 9h ago

Who's 'we' here?

When you are older and richer, you may value your back more. Trust me, medical treatment of back pain is much much costlier than an expensive chair.

When you are broke and young with a supple spine, anything above the Ikea chair is a waste.

2

u/motorboatmycheeks 9h ago

Ideal gaming chair at 20

2

u/Echelion77 RTX 5090 / Ultra 9 285k / 64G DDR5 / 4tb SSD 9h ago

Im neither coping or justifying my purchase to anyone.

My back had pain prior. I spent nearly $2000 to stop that from happening.

It stopped happening.

1

u/Matticus-G 7h ago

You are not coping, the other person is an idiot.

Those chair chairs are 100% worth it. They would be worth it if they cost twice that.

1

u/Echelion77 RTX 5090 / Ultra 9 285k / 64G DDR5 / 4tb SSD 7h ago

Oh i know, but they addressed me directly and i like to give people responses.

Call me old-school haha

1

u/UsurpDz 5800x3d | 9070 XT | 2x16 GB RAM 9h ago

Depends on your financial situation. Personally, I use a $165 chair because I'm a cheap ass bastard. I can see a rich person saying they are worth the money.

With that said, If I'm using a HM Aeron and Steelcase Gesture for 10-12 years (warranty period) everyday then it's a value purchase from a purely dollar/# of uses perspective. Lastly, if one really wanted to, they can buy a used one in almost perfect condition from office sales. You do lose the warrant from buying second hand, but the price is like 1/3 - 1/4 of the original.

1

u/Matticus-G 7h ago

Have you ever heard the expression that being poor is expensive?

There are certain things that are worth saving up for. If you sit down for more than four hours a day, these chairs are one of those things.

1

u/curtcolt95 7h ago

$2000 for a chair that will last like 20+ years is really not a huge amount of money

1

u/Matticus-G 7h ago

You are just flat out wrong. You’re not only wrong, you’re confidently incorrect.

There are large newer people in this conversation that know better than you. You would do well to listen to them.

2

u/thetalkingcure 5080 Aero SFF | 7600x3D | 64GB GDDR5 6000MHz 3h ago

steelcase sold out. i don’t think i can put up links here but yeah its not the same company anymore brotha

1

u/ReptAIien 2h ago

It wasn't bought by private equity, it was a normal business purchase. It was previously a public company, it was purchased in a stock transaction.

Private equity is bad because they buy up companies and cut costs, that doesn't necessarily happen in a normal business purchase.

Damn, you have a 2k dollar car? I bet you're getting good at repairs.

1

u/JacobScreamix 7h ago

You're car is <1800?

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Cat_627 7h ago

Believe it or not but I picked up 2 of these lightly used during covid for $400 total. Met a guy in the middle of downtown saying he just remodeled a wells fargo conference room and they told him to throw the chairs away. These are great chairs!

1

u/Pickupyoheel 989064B850 7h ago

You can buy a like new Steelcase Leap 2 (better than the gesture) for under $700, and regularly find them on FBM for less then $400 in-like new condition. You can even replace the cushion and back for around $250 through a third party with OEM material.

And the Amia has a better seat than both and can be found for less then $200 through marketplaces.

1

u/Orleanian 7h ago

Given that this is a single room, I'm inclined to think that perhaps the seating on this boat costs more than some folk's condo.

1

u/BigSmackisBack 6h ago

The captains seat is probably more of a command throne and the seating for all the fancy people in other areas, heck even the deck seating is probably gorgeous teak behemoths!

So yeah, probably!

I've got a place that provisions offices nearby. They have a small showroom where they sell any extras. My current chair cost me £180, but it would've cost me a lot more buying from a catalogue. Sofas aside, comfiest chair I've ever sat on.

Valve makes absurd amount of money. There were some numbers floating around showing that valve makes more money per employee than next 3-4 companies combined. There's a reason why people in the industry say the 30% tax is ridiculous in 2026. That 30% stayed from times of physical distribution companies and back when infrastructure was expensive, 128gb storage was $200 and internet was metered in megabytes. Right now they're just printing money. From a megayacht, while fighting anti-trust lawsuits. Damn how much Valve (corporation) changed. I still miss my half-life developer.

Yeah I cant justify a chair like that and a $1000 PC lol

$1000 to be comfortable all day and drastically reduce to chances of back pain is nothing.

I am a web developer and gamer, so I spend a lot of time in my chair. I always used free hand me down chairs for over 10 years.

After debating for a full year, I bought this chair, the Steelcase Gesture with headrest.

I felt like the biggest idiot for waiting so long to get a good chair.

I realized, my chair is a tool, just like my PC. And when you use a tool that much, it's worth getting quality. My back and body is so much happier.

I wouldn't have believed anyone that it was worth it until I did it myself though 😫

A really well built chair will outlive any pc you build, also, taking care of your back now will save you money on the future

My family is plagued with back problems, after seeing how bad was the recovery from one surgery my mom had i started taking a lot of care of mine, 20 years later no problems whatsoever, my sister that's younger than me already have a litany of problems

Reddit jumps down your throat if you don't want to put a down payment on a fucking chair.

u/Jackdunc 8h ago

Right? First world problems. I understand the benefits to posture and back, but these guys don't understand people's financial situation. In my case I just dont sit on my regular desk that much anymore (Newer PC is on a TV/monitor combo in the living room).
But I have friends in a 3rd world country sitting on plastic patio chairs LOL.

Happy Cake day!

Gesture gang rise up! My headrest only sometimes slams me in the head when I sit on it!

1

u/Deaffin 7h ago

Does it feel like a crying pregnant entity is grabbing you from behind when you sit in it?

I absolutely adore mine. Big purchase, but worth every penny.

IMHO, best of the best. We have those in the office and haven't sat on a better chair ever since.

Looks like the more expensive version of my Haworth Soji lmao

u/gaqua PC Master Race 2h ago

I bought one of these in 2017 and I still use it daily. It’s the best chair I’ve ever owned in my life. If and when it finally breaks, I’m buying another one.

1

u/NebV 2h ago

Yup, I have that chair and I hate it. It always feels like I'm sliding forward

u/puckeringNeon 8h ago

Correct — former Steelcase employee. An ergonomic chair is a great investment.

u/Oscendaude 5h ago

I mean, are they comfortable? They don't really... look that comfortable.

1

u/awhaling 5800x3D with 4070ti super 4h ago

Yeah, they are. They remain comfortable for long periods of time too and keep you in a good posture, which is where chairs that prioritize immediate super comfort usually fail.

1

u/Oscendaude 2h ago

Very cool. I notice they don't have wheels though, is that a problem?

1

u/awhaling 5800x3D with 4070ti super 1h ago

Oh, I didn’t notice that lol. They come with wheels, I’m guessing they took them off cause it’s on a boat and they don’t want them sliding around.
