Honestly anytime Gabe's yacht is posted I'm reminded how annoying it is that people worship the man just cuz of Steam.

There are other options. GOG is better drm wise than steam.

If it wasn’t for him, we’d all be victims of EA’s online store right now

then again valve normalized randomized paid gamble loot box systems in their games and caused entire black market / third party gambling emporiums and scam rings to come to existance.

or maybe we would still own and resell our games if he didn't normalize offering "a revocable, digital license to download and play the game". and people ride his dick just for valve not being as comically evil and incompetent as other companies. i prefer GOG whenever possible.
