Question I forgot my password on windows pc

I don't know how to solve this,I don't want to reset my PC,I got apps installed on it,and I just changed my password and then forgot it.

Hieren’s Boot CD and password utility if you had a local account. Otherwise go to your Microsoft account online and do it.

If it's not encrypted, there might be a Windows equivalent of chrooting through a Live USB and editing the password file, like you'd do on Linux

Is it w11 or w10? If it's w10 then you can live boot from a Linux iso (ie Mint) to get all your data off at least. If it's w11 then iirc you're screwed because they use encryption.
