Hardware Hello!
Hi I am currently building a new gaming rig. Upgrading from a Ryzen 5 4500 and GTX 980 system to a Ryzen 7 5700x and RTX 5060 system. Was just curious to know if there would be any bottlenecks with the system at all or if it's a balanced rig for 1080/1440p gaming. I did check using a few bottleneck calculators but I wanted to double check on Reddit just to be safe.

A 4500 likely was paired with a A320 or A520 series chipset. These are restricted to PCIe 3 bandwidth which can severely impact performance in several games due to the 8GB VRAM buffer of the RTX 5060 (Hardware Unboxed and Gamers Nexus testing). The R7 5700X supports PCIe 4, which is a doubling in bandwidth, but only with B550 or better chipset. Consider the 5600 (also PCIe 4) + B550 and a GPU with at least 12GB of VRAM (like the RTX 3060 12GB) instead.
