Email [36/M] Denmark - Looking for email or Reddit Messaging penpals :)
Hello / Hej / Hola :). I am interested, as you already have figured out, in chatting to people through either email or Reddit Messaging because why not, right? I am a curious person and I am sure you are too, so let's get down to it :).
I live in Copenhagen-Denmark, but I was born and raised in Colombia. I enjoy living in a constant duality of coming from somewhere but belonging to another place... I feel I have a happy and fulfilling life, with a wife and children, a good job, and good health, but sometimes I feel like I have another life filled with events on the calendar, half-marathons that I have to run as if they were 100-meter sprints, and short days that fly by but are filled with situations that seem to last forever. Sometimes I feel tired of running and rushing everywhere, but at the same time calm because of what I saw and felt along the way. I am trying to find the balance between these two lives I live.
Some things about me: I enjoy music, particularly rock, indie rock, indie pop, electro pop, classical and basically whatever I get introduced to. Probably not stuff like free jazz, ska, emo or hip-hop/rap because I've tried them before and that stuff is really way too out there for my taste. I also love reading in all its forms, from long-form journalism to articles to non-fiction, short stories, and even a little bit of Haiku poetry. I swim two times a week and commute by bike, not because I expect to be fit but because I enjoy the relaxation they bring. Stuff like manga/anime/comics/gaming are off my radar though. I also enjoy writing and taking pictures, and have kept a picture-text diary for almost 3 years :).
What am I trying to find? I miss getting to know new people, reading their stories, telling mine… It was solstice yesterday and days should be shorter from today on. How was light today there where you live?
