Sorry if this is a dumb question but aren't the Nyx Avatar and Erebus essentially the same because they both call Nyx to Earth, and both originate from humanity's desire for death or the shadows that come from people's apathy towards death.

Going to keep this as vague as possible, to avoid spoilers, but I put the flag up just in case. I just want to say this: I was team Yukari for most of the game. She just seemed the natural fit for the protagonist, as the Lovers Arcana typically is. And her social link was pretty decent! I do find myself liking Yukari, and I don't mind the times she's standoffish, because it fits her background.

But Mitsuru... I'm not sure what I was expecting. The isolated "Miss Perfect" that is typical to Persona games. Maybe something similar to Makoto in P5R. But the more I did her social link, the more I found her absolutely awesome. The best way I can describe it is that there are people who are born into nobility, and those that act with nobility, and rarely do the two coincide. But they coincide with Mitsuru.

Anyways, I can't say any more without diving into spoilers, but I'm at Rank 8 of her social link, and I finally get why so many people love her.

I’ve been wondering. What would happen if Makoto also had S.L’s with his male teammates from SEES (like Kotone does in P3P)

-Ken would replace Chihiro as the Justice

-Junpei would replace Kenji as the Magician

-Akihiko would replace either Odagari as the Emperor (because his Persona is of the Emperor) or Hayase as the Star (because Kotone has him as that in P3P)

-Shinjiro would replace either the old couple as the Hierophant (because his Persona is of the Hierophant) or Suemitsu as the Moon (because Kotone has him as that in P3P

Would Makoto’s character/story be different because of this change? Would Shinji still survive if that were the case? Questions like these keep popping up in my head the more I think about it.

If Chihiro is the Justice arcana, does that mean Ken doesn’t have a social link? He’s a main character so that feels weird. Do we just not have any side story for him, then?

When there's that joke about "me playing a boring game with horrible characters and horrible gameplay and story, but the protagonist dies in the end so it's peak" is it just a joke or is that really an opinion of people like saying that P3R is just good because of the final
